The amazing team behind The Wedding Row has created more wedding candy goodness. (Or is it crack, I’m addicted!) Smitten, the Look Book of Wedding Fancy, is an e-glossy that launched last week. Grab a glass of bubbly and give yourself a solid chunk of time to indulge, it’s worth it! I’m honored to be included in the first issue. Lauren and Chad’s Middleton Place Plantation wedding is featured along with some of Sara York Grimshaw’s fabulous floral creations that I was lucky enough to have photographed.

Chris and Ashley Dorsey’s beautiful Lowndes Grove wedding is featured in the latest issue of Charleston Weddings alongside so many other gorgeous pages of wedding inspiration. Kristin Newman and Heather Barrie teamed up for this stunner and I love the vibrant palate of pinks, oranges and yellows, perfect for a summer day on the water!
This week marks the end of engagement season, and the editors at The Knot have a couple of great tools for those of you now planning (or helping a friend plan) a wedding! I’m also thrilled to have some of my photographs included in these great publications, they’ve been in the works for such a long time it’s nice to revisit some of my favorite weddings that date back a few years. The Wedding Planner in a Box has cute flash cards you can stash in your bag and bring along when you meet with your vendors, and goes over everything from day-of emergency kits to what to tip your musicians. And the beautiful, photo filled Ultimate Wedding Lookbook is chock full of wedding inspiration goodness. I have been swooning over cakes and admiring the adventurous color palates all afternoon. Super excited to be a part of it!

Kirsten Hocker and Paul Mason had a spectacular wedding last October at Lowndes Grove Plantation. Once again, the ladies at WED teamed up with Dahlia Designs and knocked it out of the park with a beautiful tent filled with fall-hued sprays of yellow, orange, green and brown. Their colorful wedding is featured in the current Fall issue of The Knot Weddings Magazine! Congratulations Kirsten and Paul!

Martha Kent and Michael were married in the fall of 2008 and had a beautifully bright and cheery yellow-hued reception at Lowndes Grove. Ooh Events did the design and set up cushy yellow lounges where guests enjoyed an amazing sunset and hand rolled cigars. Their wedding is in the current issue of Charleston Weddings Magazine. 
Their wedding colors sparked my obsession with bright shoes. Martha Kent’s maids wore highlighter yellow strappy sandals that really popped against the green grass. Congratulations Martha Kent and Michael!
This Thursday morning I trekked out to Awendaw to photograph Robin and Doug Smith for Skirt! Magazine. They’re being featured in the February issue which is all amazing couples. It was one of the coldest mornings we’ve had in ages and as I got further out into the country it started to look more and more like winter and the temperature reading on my car kept dropping till it bottomed out at 27 degrees. We did the shoot outside and as cold as it was I had a hard time getting back in my car and leaving their family and all their sweet, furry friends behind.
Kate Brockhouse and Ben Pittard were married in September 2008 at Kate’s childhood home on the water in Charleston. Their fabulous wedding is published in this month’s issue of Modern Bride Magazine, which also, very sadly, happens to be the final issue of the magazine. 
I’ve used this shot for ads all year, I absolutely love her gown, too!
The wedding was gorgeous and their first dance (Super Freak!) is still one of my favorites. It will be hard to top. Congratulations Kate and Ben!
